Laughter Yoga combines laughter with yogic breathing (Pranayama). Laughter produces physiological and psychological benefits through increased oxygenation of the blood and dopamine release. When laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group, with eye contact and childlike playfulness, it soon develops into real and contagious laughter… and a lot of fun.
Join Brittney Hiller for a one-hour workshop to benefit Jessica Mattson, who recently received a double lung transplant that offers her a new lease on life and a second chance to truly laugh! A portion of the event’s proceeds will go to COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) to help cover transplant related expenses.
No yoga mat required, just bring a playful attitude and the willingness to share a laugh with others!
